The Doc's Deepwood Run Foundation Committee would like to invite you to become a part of this event. The Run Committee is excited about this year's event. Thanks to individuals and businesses such as you, we have been able to directly impact and improve the lives of people with Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities. We would not be able to accomplish this task without the support of our local businesses and the individuals that have generously made donations of cash and/or products in support of this worth while event.

A little about who we are. The "Doc's Deepwood Run" is a non-profit organization. All monies derived from this event go to improve the quality of life for Individuals with Mental Retardation and/or Development Disabilities.

"Doc's Deepwood Run" started in 1998 to help Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. When funding for Deepwood, Lake County's Board of MR/DD, had been drastically reduced by a failed levy request that year, Doc's Run Stepped to the plate. "Doc's Deepwood Run" has evolved into an annual event with a well organized group of volunteers raising nearly $155,000 to date.

We are truly a family.

We are now in the planning stages of the "10th Annual Doc's Deepwood Run". We hope that we may recognize you and/or your business as part of this worthy event.

Run begins at the Deepwood Center with the drawing for the 2008 Deluxe Softtail at 10:30am. (Bikes riding in from Cleveland Public Square will leave for Deepwood at 9:30am.) The Run will leave Deepwood Campus at 11:00am and end at Western Reserve Harley-Davidson with music, drinks, food, great doorprizes and a 50/50 raffle at 3:00pm.
